I have installed the gnu tools in cygwin, but I only use it as the standard one.
I think the standard usage could work at any unix platform, and the standard usage
is enough to any tasks. (Maybe you need to write shell script sometimes.)

BTW:
I only use "awk" to format the output, I don't know it can work as a filter. :)
